Carolyn and her grandsons have returned home. She is doing remarkably well--the Lord has given her grace and strength.
Please call Carol if you are interested in bringing them a meal.
Earlier this morning, Frank left the loving arms of family and friends in this world for the arms of the Savior he loved.
He taught us much while he was here--about faithfulness, prayer, and loving the family of God. He will be missed...but no doubt enjoyed an abundant entrance into the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1: 11)
Funeral service details will be posted to this site as they are available.
So we are always of good courage.
We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord,
for we walk by faith, not by sight.
Yes, we are of good courage,
and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
Hosea 13:14 "I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction! Pity is hidden from My eyes."
2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
Our brother-in-Christ, friend and grandfather Wally Block joined His Savior in His eternal home early Saturday morning. We praise the Lord for his perfect timing and Wally's deliverance from this mortal body to one that is immortal. (1 Corinthians 15:54)

Another pillar-of-the-faith at Lake Road Bible Chapel has left this passing world for one that is eternal. Brother Paul Olson went to glory yesterday--reunited with his friend Wally, but most importantly with the Savior he loved. Our prayers continue to be with both the Olson and the Block families--for strength, encouragement, and hope for what is yet to come!
